CONSUMER INFORMATION

Uniflora produces your own powdered propolis using standardized extract obtained starting from selected Brazilian raw propolis and equipment developed to maximize the extraction. As it was proven in our laboratories the product in powder conserves all the components and consequently the actions scientifically tested of the propolis. The flavor and the smell characteristic are also preserved in the powder.

The propolis contents of each capsules is similar of up to 40 drops of a Propolis Extract (Medium Type). A Propolis Extract flask of 30 ml contains about 375 drops, it represent less than 10 capsules of the new Phytoflora Propolis 400mg.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The propolis is a resinous and balsamic substance, which has many colorations and several consistencies, varying from the brown coloration to dark green. It is produced by the bees to break sprouts and resinous exudates of plants, and used inside the beehive " to weld " honeycombs, to polish the alveoli, to close openings for reduction of the entrance of cold wind, and, mainly, of the natural enemies: fungus and bacteria. It is also used to embalm small animals died by the bees and that they could not be retired, avoiding like this your deterioration.

The chemical composition of the propolis depends on the botanical ecology of each area and by the bee race, but generally, it is compose of 50% of resin and balm, 30% of wax, 10% of essential and aromatic oils, 5% of pollen and 5% of several other substances. Until the moment they were already more than 200 chemical compounds identified in the propolis, like the flavonoids, aromatic acids, terpene, aldehydes, alcohols, aliphatic acid and esters, amino acids, steroids, sugar, etc. The intense studies on propolis reveal that these compounds are for its several physiologic actions: anti-microbe (it works as a natural antibiotic), anti-inflammatory, healing, anesthetic and antioxidant (it combats the free radicals).

The quality of the Phytoflora Propolis 400mg is controlled through the following parameters: dosage of flavonoids contents (through analysis in spectrophotometer) and dry residue percentage. Our microbiology laboratory has a standard methodology to test the anti microbes activity of the used propolis, with the objective to control and to check the antibiotic power of the final product.

Sensitive people to the propolis should not use the product.

There are not concrete reports, but it should be looked at the occurrence of allergic reactions.

RECOMMENDATIONS OF USE

Adults: 1 capsule, 2 times a day.

Children up to 12 years: 1 capsule, 1 times a day.

Children up to 5 years: 1 capsule, each 2 days.

The product should be ingested preferably in fast.

There are not known restrictions on the increase of this recommended dosage. In serious cases, as of patients' rehabilitation under chemical therapies treatment seeks advice the consumption of until 6 capsules a day. Consult your doctor.
