Uniflora
Apicultores Associados Ltda was founded in August 1992, when
a group of beekeepers worried about introducing their products directly
to the customers decided to change things. In a market where there
was poor quality and unreliable products they decided to provide
customers with packaging and labels easier to use and identify,
reliable quality and pure products. Uniflora nowadays is the largest
honey and by products industry in America, based on up to date technology,
and always seeking to accomplish an important mission: supply pure
bees by products.
One
of a striking difference of our products in comparison to others
is the packaging. It has been designed with a clean modern appearance
that shows the workmanship and quality of the products that it contains,
making it different of other similar products on a global level.
Bee by products (honey, propolis, pollen and royal jelly) receive
special treatment in developed countries, including research in
Biotechnological and Pharmaceutical Centers where its therapeutical
properties are proved constantly. Brazil, the fifth largest world
honey producer must to be competitive in these markets, using its
potential of natural richness.
Uniflora
has supplied Asiatic (Japan, Korea and Taiwan) and North American
(USA and Canada) markets. Their potential demand and quality standards
have distinguished our products with a recognition certificate that
put us in a position of a leader and an ethical producer "in
comparison" with the drugs producers. We recently started a
new plant in the city of Olimpia, with facilities to process 400
tons of honey per month and to bottle one million units per month.

Uniflora
has developed new lines of products, in partnership with national
universities, destined to domestic and international markets.
These new products do fit to the new vision of international
market of health foods (health products), where natural compounds
are connected with therapeutic characteristics, as they appear
in bees by products. We will soon start producing "organic
honey" (free from contamination of agricultural toxins,
chemicals or drugs) with international certificate, what will
open a large market to Brazilian products, mainly in North
America and European Union.
From
the original idea of a company designed to market the products
of its members, the company has grown with cutting edge technology
and high quality, developing new products and opening new
markets, both domestic and foreign. This fact has contributed
to the increasing demand and knowledge of our products and
its quality as well as of the Brazilian bees by products as
a whole.
